4. Contact via email

If you contact us by email, we may process:

  • Email address
  • Name (if provided)
  • Any information included in your message

This data is used only to respond to your request.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).

5. Firebase Analytics

5.1 Data processing

We use Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how the App is used and improve functionality. Firebase Analytics processes pseudonymous usage data, such as:

  • App interactions
  • Screen views
  • Feature usage
  • Onboarding completion
  • Technical device information (e.g., device type, OS version)

This data does not directly identify users.

5.2 Legal basis

Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in improving the App) and/or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (user consent, where required by law).

5.3 Data retention

Firebase Analytics data is retained according to Google's default retention settings unless configured otherwise (typically up to 14 months).

5.4 International data transfers

Firebase Analytics may transfer data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including the United States. Google ensures an adequate level of data protection through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.

6. Data storage and retention

All personal data entered into the App is stored locally on your device. Data remains on your device until:

  • You delete it manually
  • You clear app data
  • You uninstall the App

We do not store backups or cloud copies of your data.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

The only third-party service used is Firebase Analytics for pseudonymous usage statistics as described above.

Health-related data, timer history, and personal inputs are never shared.

8. Rights of the data subject

Under GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access (Art. 15)
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16)
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18)
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20)
  • Right to object (Art. 21)
  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3))
  • Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77)

Since most data is stored locally on your device, these rights can usually be exercised by deleting app data or uninstalling the App.

The right to object applies also to Firebase Analytics processing based on legitimate interests.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect legal or operational changes. The latest version will always be available within the App.
